What I Do Best

Technical Communication

I create documentation that helps people understand systems, complete tasks and solve problems. My experience includes technical documentation, process documentation, rollout materials, reference guides, user manuals and knowledge base content.

Editorial Quality

I strengthen content by improving its logic, organization, accuracy and usability — not just its grammar. My editing emphasizes consistency, sound structure, careful research and a clear understanding of the audience.

Content Operations

I build the systems behind successful content organizations, including editorial workflows, documentation standards, contributor management, CMS improvements and quality assurance processes that help teams produce better content more consistently.

My background in digital publishing and SEO helps ensure content isn’t just well written — it can also be found by the people who need it.

A Little About Me

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Technical Writing and a minor in Computer Science before beginning my career in software systems, quality assurance and technical documentation.

That foundation eventually led into digital publishing, editorial leadership and content operations. The work evolved, but the central challenge did not. Whether I’m documenting software, editing a complex publication or improving the process behind a content program, I’m trying to make information easier to understand and easier to use.

When I’m away from the keyboard, I’m usually writing plays, mixing tiki cocktails or spending time with Steve and Peggy, the world’s two greatest dogs. I’m sure yours are lovely.
