Steve and Peggy are rescues. When my fiancée and I first got them in 2021 (at the height of the pandemic), they were both emaciated and covered with ticks. We also found out that Peggy had heartworms. Fortunately, we were able to catch it in time and get her the treatment she needed. Both dogs are happy and healthy now.
Peggy is chihuahua mix with big, sweet eyes and an amazing white mohawk. Steve is a wire-haired terrier mix with a perpetually cocked ear and the most serious expression on his face. And yes, we named them Steve and Peggy because we’re MCU fans and colossal nerds.
